Panathinaikos represented Greece in the event and the participation of its delegation in this International Social Program “Football for Friendship”, of Gazprom, was very successful.

The Director of Panathinaikos’ Academy, Takis Fyssas, was the Ambassador of Greece for the event and was accompanied by two more Ambassadors, of twelve years of age: Markos Spatharis, player of Panathinaikos’ Academy who participated in the program as a player and Thanassis Georgoulas who assumed the duties of young reporter. They all returned yesterday from the Russian city of Saint Petersburg, where the International Tournament of Football for Friendship (F4F) took place, during the whole week.

In the F4F competition, Markos Spatharis played with the Blue team of friendship, having as teammates other young players coming from 7 different countries, though Thanassis Georgoulas followed the tournament reporting for F4F’s daily newspaper.
