PEANIA ATHLETIC CENTRE

PANATHINAIKOS FC owns one of the best Athletic Centres in Europe, situated in an ideal place, in Peania (a suburb of   Athens). It was built in 1981 and is constituted by 70 acres of land. The creation of this Athletic Centre was part of  the vision of the Vardinogiannis family for the upgrading of Greek football.


The principal functions of the Centre are the following:

• The scientific and comfortable preparation of the professional football team.
• The operation of the Club’s Football Academy.

The comforts and the environment of the Athletic Centre are of high standards. Every year the best European Teams visit the Athletic Centre and many of them have done their preparation work there. 
Facilities:

• Hotel accommodations which consist of 27 double rooms, restaurant, bar, TV room, indoor pool, sauna, relaxation hall, play rooms, storage areas and conference room.
• Four football fields.
• One Football field with artificial turf
• A fully equipped gymnasium, physiotherapy room and dressing rooms for the professional team and the Academy.
• Offices
• A building for the relaxation of the professional football players (TV room, entertainment hall, rooms for rest and relaxation).
• A Helicopter pad.
