F.C. Panathinaikos announces the acquisition of Anthony Mounier who signed a three year contract, being the 11th player transferred to the “Shamrock” for this season.

Mounier was born in Aubenas, France on the 27th of September 1987 and joined the first team of Lyon in 2007, when he was 20, coming from the younger team of that Club. He won the “Championnat” in his first season there and in summer 2009, after 29 matches, 5 goals and 5 assists he was transferred to Nice, in the last transfer day. He stayed there for three seasons appearing in 107 games, scoring 17 goals and contributing in 19 assists, before moving to Montpellier in summer 2012. This was the last “French” stop in his career, remaining for three years playing in 111 matches, scoring 14 goals and “serving” 20 assists. In August 2015 he realized his first step to the “Campionato” joining the team of Bologna where he stayed for 1,5 years, playing in 38 matches (6 goals, 1 assist). In January 2017 he was loaned to Atalanta. He played 5 times for the team of Bergamo and appeared in 4 matches with the National team of France U-21.
