Panathinaikos FC announces the renewal of the contract with Filip Mladenović. The Serbian defender has signed his new contract, which will be valid until June 2026.
Filip joined Panathinaikos in the summer of 2023. He has recorded a total of 91 appearances and 4 goals with our club.
“I’m very happy to continue at Panathinaikos. I feel grateful to the club, to president Mr. Alafouzos, to the sports director Mr. Papadimitriou and to the coaching staff. The most important thing for me is that we share the same philosophy and mentality. Everyone showed me how much they wanted me to stay, and that makes me happy,” said Filip after signing his new contract.
“My goal is the same as the club’s goal. It’s simple, because at Panathinaikos we always aim to win the championship. Unfortunately, we haven’t succeeded in the two years I’ve been with the team, but I hope we’ll find a way to seize the opportunity in the new season and achieve it. It’s very important for all of us and for our fans. We will definitely fight until the end and I am convinced we can make it,” Mladenović added.
