Panathinaikos FC announces the signing of Milos Pantovic! The 23-year-old Serbian forward has signed a four-year contract and becomes the ninth addition to the squad for the new season.
Milos Pantovic was born on August 24, 2002, in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia. He began his football career at the Vojvodina academy. His development did not go unnoticed by the country’s top clubs, and at the age of 15 he joined Red Star Belgrade.
Two years later, he made his debut with the first team in a Cup match. Everyone recognized his potential, so in January 2020 he was initially loaned to Graficar, and then in the summer of 2020 to Vozdovac. At the latter, he had an outstanding season, which led Red Star to sign him permanently. At the same time, he became a key player for the Serbia U21 national team and kept improving year after year.
In 2023, Backa Topola acquired him, and he immediately became their top scorer! He played in the Europa League group stage and was called up to the Serbian senior national team. Last season, he scored five times in the Conference League group stage and reached double digits in league goals for the second year in a row.
At Panathinaikos, he will be wearing the jersey number 72.
We welcome Milos into Panathinaikos family!
