Panathinaikos U17 celebrated after winning unbeaten the championship on Saturday afternoon in Koropi. The Greens defeated Asteras Tripolis 1-0 thanks to a goal by Spyros Dimos, then lifted the trophy and celebrated passionately.
It was a championship they fully deserved from the first to the last matchday. In 26 matches, they recorded 19 wins and 7 draws, meaning that no opponent managed to defeat them.
Angelos Zazopoulos’ team played attractive and modern football from the very beginning of the season. The players truly enjoyed this success, while the president of Panathinaikos F.C., Mr. Ioannis Alafouzos, attended the celebration and presented the trophy to the club’s U17 side.
