The Swedish striker Marcus Berg was awarded MVP on matchday 27 of OPAP Superleague 2014/15, in the competition organised by the Super League, the Association of Football Professionals (PSAP) and NOVA.

Marcus achieved a hat-trick in the win over Panathinaikos – PAOK 4-3 and he received his award at the training center “Giorgos Kalafatis” by Panathinaikos Goalkeepers Academy coach Vangelis Lappas.

Marcus Berg made the following comment for receiving the award: “It is a great honor to receive awards, but I would happily change any personal prize in order to win something as a team. This is exactly the reason that we practice every day, in order to win trophies as a Club. Now we need to focus on the playoffs and get the position that takes us to Champions League qualifiers. This is our main goal now.
