Panathinaikos showed character once again and with a late goal by Daniel Mancini is coming home for the turnaround. The Greens were defeated 2-1 by Braga in the first match for the play offs of the Champions League and will give their best on the evening of August 29 with the fervent support of their fans at the Olympic Stadium, for the Champions League group stage ticket.

The game in Braga was difficult and demanding against a strong side. It was a match between a balanced pair that left open accounts for the decisive rematch in Athens.
