FC Panathinaikos announces the acquisition of Achilleas Pougouras who signed a three year contact.
Pougouras was born in the city of Thessaloniki on the 13th of December 1995. He started playing at Promitheus, Larisa’s local team and in 2012 he joined the U-17 team of PAOK. He debuted in Super League’s competitions playing for this team from Thessaloniki, remaining there till 2017-18 season. He plays as a stopper but he has competed at the edges of the defense, as well.
«Although I am only few days in the club, the warm welcome I experienced from the coaching team and from my teammates made me feel like I have been here for years. I am glad being in Panathinaikos. I am getting a great opportunity to show my value and what I am able to do», Achileas Pougouras said after he signed his contract.
