F.C. Panathnaikos announces its agreement with the French team RC Lens for the loan of Victor Klonaridis till summer 2017.
Following the signature of his contract Victor spoke to the official site of our F.C.:
“In football you can never know if you are going to play well somewhere or not. Sometimes everything goes well when you feel confidence and other times although you believe that you can be a star you don’t succeed. The truth is that in Lens I didn’t play as much as I wished. I decided together with Lens’ trainer that it would be better for me to move to another team in order to play much more. Once I know Panathinaikos and its people and I do not need any time to adapt myself here, it was the best choice for me.
I believe very much in the new trainer and in the new football director of the team and I consider that they can help me to progress and pay the outmost. At the end of this semester we will see what will happen and if I am going to stay. I know very well Mr. Kolla, because he was my trainer in AEK’s U20. I know also Nikos Lymberopoulos very well, we were teammates in AEK and he was like a father to me. I am also aware about the coach that wherever he worked he created very good teams. I am very excited being back to Panathinaikos again because I consider that this is the right environment for me to compete according to my abilities” Klonaridis stated.
